Novecento Mai Visto

Collezioni bresciane Da de Chirico a Cattelan e oltre

 

Opere “mai viste”, da decenni esposte nei depositi dei musei e nelle stanze dei collezionisti bresciani.

Da de Chirico a Cattelan e oltre è la sezione di NOVECENTO MAI VISTO dedicata alle esperienze artistiche dell’arte italiana dal primo Novecento agli anni Settanta. Una testimonianza delle tendenze che, in particolare tra gli anni Cinquanta e Settanta, hanno caratterizzato l’arte italiana, dall’Informale allo Spazialismo, all’Arte Povera.    

Con un omaggio particolare a Guglielmo Achille Cavellini, artista e collezionista d’eccezione, quale figura rappresentativa ed in grado di evocare il clima culturale di avanguardia che ha connotato Brescia  tra il 1964 al 1972, grazie all’apertura di nuove gallerie e al costituirsi di cospicue raccolte private.
